CHILDREN OF THE STARS
Dawn rises over the fields,
Forests and rivers turn to gold.
We came to bring the world its light,
So that we may see the light in every soul.
How many faces does our beloved land have,
How much pain has frozen in those faces.
We sprouted into the light from storms,
To piece the world together bit by bit.
Our mountains shelter the clouds,
Our steppes stretch into the boundless distance.
And the river flows like time,
Drawing patterns across the land.
We do not build iron borders
Between the heart, the land, and the people.
We want, among joyful faces,
To live beneath our vast shared sky.
The double-headed eagle is not our master!
We are a proud people, not a herd!
We will give up nothing that is ours,
And we need nothing that belongs to others!
Let speech differ in many tongues,
Let prayers and songs be different,
We must protect one another,
Casting off the burden of hatred and revenge.
We want every people
To live freely beneath its own sky,
So that children never hear thunder,
So that the fields smell of warm bread.
Our songs, hopes, and dreams,
Our wisdom, faith, and roads.
There is enough land in this world
For us to live without hatred or fear.
The throne is not the people's master.
Our master is the Heavenly Lord.
Our judge on Earth is the round table.
And in heaven—the bodiless Spirit.
The double-headed eagle is not our master!
We are a proud people, not a herd!
We will give up nothing that is ours,
And we need nothing that belongs to others!
Our songs, hopes, and dreams,
Our knowledge, bread, and roads.
There is enough land in this world
For us to live without hatred or fear.
Dawn rises over the planet,
A new era begins.
Earth's antennas already hear
The distant voice of another world.
Our children will launch a spacecraft
And leave Earth's orbit behind.
The stellar expanse will open to them,
Hidden until now by time.
We are not the ashes of forgotten ages,
Nor slaves to a rotten system.
In our souls shines the fire
Of that distant cosmic era.
Our blood remembers the light of the heights,
And the cosmos pulses through our veins.
We are not only children of Earth—
We are particles of the Universe.
Look at Earth shining
In the boundless cosmic abyss.
All peoples are one family,
All prayers are one song.
The planet has no unwanted children,
No strangers beneath the boundless stars.
Let us become better, wiser, kinder,
Let us grow up again in space.
The double-headed eagle is not our master!
We are a proud people, not a herd!
We will give up nothing that is ours,
And we need nothing that belongs to others!
Our blood remembers the light of the heights,
And the cosmos pulses through our veins.
We are not only children of Earth—
We are particles of the Universe.
We are children of the stars…
We are children of the stars…
