“Healing.” Affirmations — Part 2
Author and developer — Sergey Veretennikov
This fifteen-minute program combines ten affirmations with spatial sound and images of renewal. It is designed to promote deep relaxation, kind attention to your body, and a strengthened inner orientation toward recovery.
How the program works
In headphones, the voices come from different directions: left and right, diagonally, creating a sense of space in front of and behind you. Some phrases sound closer, while others are quieter and seem farther away. With each repetition, the position of the affirmation changes.
The next phrase begins approximately one second before the previous one ends — already in another location within the sound space. This creates a continuous surround of voices. This sound arrangement is intended to sustain attention and reduce the sense of familiarity caused by repetition.
Spatial processing takes into account differences in the time it takes sound to reach each ear, as well as its volume and timbre. The intensity of the sensation of front and rear directions may vary from listener to listener.
Ten illustrations complement the audio. Each contains the text of the corresponding affirmation and an image раскрывающий its meaning: inner light, harmony, protection, renewal, and the force of life.
How to practice
Put on stereo headphones, choose a comfortable volume, and settle into a comfortable position. Breathe naturally. You can look atimages or close your eyes and direct your attention to the sound. It is not necessary to follow every voice simultaneously—let the phrases play, noticing their meaning and your own sensations.
The duration of one session is 15 minutes.
