I purchased this meditation and listened to it three or four times. At times, I drifted into sleep or drowsiness, and the narrative slipped away from me; at other times, I returned and saw vivid images. As it turned out, with each listening I heard something I had not noticed before.
Initially, during the first listening, I struggled to see the roots of my family tree. I saw a powerful trunk, branches, fruit, and a small root that did not correspond to the crown. By the second listening, the image of my inner vision had changed: the roots had grown, extended deep down, lit up, and become powerful and sparkling. My perception of myself within the ancestral system also changed. Before listening, I saw myself as the trunk—broad and strong, but still a trunk. Afterwards, I became a branch: alive, flexible, strong, and green. And I felt lighter; somehow, it immediately became easier to accept help, communicate with my children, and pass these life-giving juices from the roots onward to my own children. I saw many ancestors in my lineage; these were deeply personal, mystical experiences. I felt the warmth of the hands of a female healer, the mark on my forehead from a wise man of my lineage, and the blessing of a happy, beautiful woman in my lineage, and I received the knowledge and experience of a master of my lineage.
