As we naturally know, humans can currently travel only to other planets. And even then, only in the form of spacecraft.
Although humans have already been to the Moon. And will fly there again. And Mars is not far off...
But what about flying to other stars!?
Humans cannot even dream of such a thing yet.
It is a veeeery great distance.
And as for other galaxies, it is downright frightening even to imagine.
Are there any analogues of interstellar travel?
It turns out there are.
Right now, an object is literally in our Solar System that was previously in another—or even several—star systems!
Yes, of course, it is comet 3I/ATLAS.
But at first it was near one star, now it is near our star, and then it will fly toward some other star...
Can you imagine how amazing that is?
In all the history of observations, there have been only two other objects that did roughly the same thing.
Yes, you are not flying anywhere.
You are simply seeing an object that was near some other star and has flown to you.
But still, how impressive!
Moreover, no one knows where this comet was even born.
Around which other star. In which other world...
And here we are, seeing it nearby.
Isn't that a miracle?
