1 Dopamine

The happiness hormone. It causes slight dizziness and the feeling of having “wings on your back.” It manifests as pleasant experiences, dreams, and anticipation of a new meeting. When a person is in a bad mood, the production of this hormone drives them to pursue what brings them happiness.

2 Serotonin

The happiness hormone; its release into the bloodstream gives us a good mood, helps us cope with stress, gives us a sense of importance and respect from those around us, while a deficiency leads to depression.

3 Adrenaline

It is associated with blood pressure. When this hormone is released into the bloodstream, pronounced changes begin in the body’s homeostasis: the limbs start to tremble, the heartbeat accelerates, and courage and the desire to do something unusual arise.

4 DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone)

“DHEA is a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands. It is a precursor to sex hormones and is responsible for sexual desire, a clear mind, a strong memory, muscle strength, physical endurance, and improved mood. Low dehydroepiandrosterone levels negatively affect both the overall hormonal balance and a person’s appearance and well-being. DHEA deficiency first manifests as brittle nails and hair loss, low mood, and changes in the length of the menstrual cycle.

5 Melatonin

Melatonin, known as the sleep hormone, also affects many other functions of the body. It is involved in the functioning of the gastrointestinal, endocrine, and immune systems, is responsible for the normal functioning of brain cells, and protects against free radicals. Yes, melatonin is a powerful antioxidant whose level affects how the skin and other organs can independently resist free radicals that destroy cells. And that is not all. Melatonin’s effects also include fat burning during sleep. The hormone is produced during sleep in its deepest phase—approximately from midnight to 4 a.m. The essential condition for its production is that a person must sleep in a dark room. Darkness can be judged by whether it is impossible to see one’s outstretched hand. Any light is an enemy of melatonin, including the display of an electronic alarm clock, not to mention the screen of a smartphone, computer, television, or a streetlamp. A decrease in melatonin levels signals to other organs and glands that it is time to rest. In women, the ovaries stop functioning, estrogen levels drop sharply, and menopause begins. In men, testosterone levels decrease significantly.” Thus, a nocturnal lifestyle is directly linked not only to impaired functioning of the entire body, but also to excess weight and rapid skin aging.

6 Oxytocin

The hormone of tenderness and attachment is oxytocin. It is responsible for love; thanks to it, we feel attachment to one another, trust, and responsibility, and it is also responsible for a mother’s love for her child.

7. Somatotropin

The growth hormone of youth and beauty.

The importance of somatotropin is difficult to overstate.
It has a rejuvenating effect, removes fat and builds muscle, and promotes rapid recovery after illness. Growth hormone in the human body is responsible for the growth and restoration of bones and tissues and regulates the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.
