ом харир видадхйан мама сарва-ракшам
нйастангхри-падмах патагендра-приштхе
дарари-чармаси-гадешу-чапа-
пашан дадхано 'шта-гуно 'шта-бахух
Верховный Господь, восседающий на спине Гаруды, держит в Своих восьми руках восемь видов оружия: раковину, диск, щит, меч, палицу, стрелы, лук и аркан. May the Lord in the form of a gigantic fish protect me in the water from fierce sea monsters, subjects of the demigod Varuna. May Lord Vamana, who assumed the form of a dwarf through the power of His illusion, protect me on land. And in the sky, may His Vishvarupa—the gigantic universal body in which the Lord conquered all three worlds—protect me.
दुर्गेष्वटव्याजिमुखादिषु प्रभुः
पायान्नृसिंहोऽसुरयूथपारिः ।
विमुञ्चतो यस्य महाट्टहासं
दिशो विनेदुर्न्यपतंश्च गर्भाः ॥१४॥
May Lord Narasimha, the enemy of the demon Hiranyakashipu, protect me from all sides. At the thunderous laughter of Narasimhadeva, all directions trembled, and the pregnant wives of the asuras gave birth prematurely. May He mercifully protect me in every dangerous place, whether in the depths of a forest or on a battlefield.

The second video discusses the importance of first cleansing the place where you are sitting when you intend to create Protection around yourself. This is not mentioned in the ancient text, but it needs to be done. It was not mentioned because in ancient times all of this was taken for granted. Besides, it was difficult to find a dirty place; everything was clean (not defiled). In Kali Yuga, everything is the opposite. Therefore, cleanse the place as described in the second video.

सनत्कुमारोऽवतु कामदेवा
द्धयशीर्षा मां पथि देवहेलनात् ।
देवर्षिवर्यः पुरुषार्चनान्तरात्

May Sanat-kumara protect me from lust. Before the beginning of good deeds, may Lord Hayagriva be with me so that I do not forget to express reverence to the Supreme. May Devarshi Narada help me avoid offenses when worshiping the Deity. May Lord Kurma protect me from falling into the abyss of hell.

It is important to understand that about 50 percent of people need to be protected from their own inner enemies.
That is why you see "oddities" in these mantras in the form of "protect me from lust," "protect me from material activity," and so on. These are not oddities. All of this and similar things make us all weak. It is important to understand this.
Many, very many people do not know this. They do not possess this great knowledge. That is why they have either "entities," or "the possessed," or something else that they are constantly fighting.
But now you know what this is and what, to a greater extent, needs to be fought.
Yes, external forces exist that can harm us. But there are also internal ones that weaken us.
AVZ (absolute Vedic protection) is absolute because it works on all levels.
That is why you see "oddities" in these mantras in the form of "protect me from lust," "protect me from material activity," and so on. These are not oddities. All of this and similar things make us all weak. It is important to understand this.

धन्वन्तरिर्भगवान् पात्वपथ्याद्

बलो गणात् क्रोधवशादहीन्द्रः ॥१८॥
May the Supreme Lord in the form of Dhanvantari protect me from improper food and physical ailments. May Lord Rishabhadeva, who has completely subdued his senses and mind, free me from the fear born of this world's duality [которая проявляется как жара и холод и т. п.]. May Lord Yajna protect me from human hostility and slander, and may Lord Balarama in the form of the serpent Shesha protect me from venomous snakes.
द्वૈપायनो भगवानप्रबोधाद्
बुद्धस्तु पाषण्डगणप्रमादात् ।
कल्किः कलेः कालमलात् प्रपातु
धर्मावनायोरुकृतावतारः ॥१९॥
May the Lord in the form of Vyasadeva protect me from all manifestations of ignorance arising when knowledge of the Vedas is forgotten. May Lord Buddha restrain me from actions that contradict the injunctions of the Vedas, and from the indolence that causes a person, in madness, to forget the teachings of the Vedas and Vedic religious rites. May Lord Kalkideva, who descends into this world to protect religion, guard me from the impurity of the age of Kali.
You can see that this Protection lists every possible type of danger, and immediately gives an exact identification of who can solve that particular problem—in other words, the precise address.
For example, if there is a health problem, one is directed to Dhanvantari (or invokes Dhanvantari), God in the form of the Divine Healer. And so on.
You can imagine what powerful energies are engaged in this Protection.

It should also be added that there is no place for polytheism in Vedic culture, contrary to what people commonly think and “fear.”
There is only one God.
All the other Gods are like our elder brothers or, more simply put, the heads of the material universe. As in a factory: there is one chief, along with several lower-ranking supervisors.
Gods must not be ignored. In other words, you can often hear the phrase, “I pray only to one God; all the others are nobody and nothing to me.”
This is the same as a younger child in a family saying, “For me, there is only Father; all my older brothers and sisters are as if they had died—I don’t know them and don’t want to know them.”
The Gods are important. They must be respected. They are endowed with the Power of God (the Almighty). By ignoring the Gods, you ignore this Power.
Moreover, no one will let you see the factory’s chief executive if you do not first establish contact with the lower-ranking supervisors, with the secretary, for example. I am putting it simply.
Therefore, pray to God, but do not forget the Gods. Holiness does not consist in persistently ignoring everyone except one God.
In the Vedic tradition, there are many aparādhas (offenses). For example, praying to God while ignoring the Goddess (God’s energy). There are many similar offenses. These are all karmic matters that entail karmic problems (debts).
Therefore, accept the fact that the one God has many names, many energies, and many representatives (supervisors, our elder brothers, and so on). Everyone must be respected.
Do not fall into the delusions imposed on you by people who have little knowledge of the Vedas.
