It is not for me to tell you how much stress currently reigns on Planet Earth. Not only do you know all this, but many people are living in THIS situation.

So there is no point in explaining it to those who already experience it firsthand every day.

And you also know what all this can lead to.

These include illnesses and suicidal thoughts, outbursts at loved ones, and an overall deterioration in quality of life, up to and including alcoholism, etc.

In various areas of my work (the website, social media, the Ashram, the School...), I have shared practices and written articles on how to reduce stress.

There is even an entire psychology section in my Ashram:

So this is a serious and extremely important topic.

Some people may be surprised, but physical exercise, hardening practices, yoga, etc. are also stress.

Stress develops us—when it is administered in appropriate doses.

It is like working with muscles: tension and relaxation. Measured tension followed by quality rest.

Otherwise, a muscle can tear or be driven to exhaustion.

The same applies to stress. Stress trains us.

If we suppose that you stopped stressing altogether—that is, you stopped exercising in the mornings, stopped hardening yourself, sat constantly in warmth, stopped listening to any news about the situation in the world and on Planet Earth, ate only warm, soft food, isolated yourself from microbes in some kind of pressure chamber, and so on—then this would most likely lead to death. This is a pathological state.

This is not characteristic of LIFE.

But that everything should be within reasonable limits—that is an unequivocal YES.

The problem is that many people never come out of stress at all.

As I have said more than once, our brain does not distinguish between an angry dog actually running at you and your imagining that it is running at you.

The brain reacts identically!!!

For it, this is the same stress.

And if you constantly replay stressful situations in your mind, your brain always thinks that you are under stress.

I emphasize once again: the problem is not the source of the stress itself. Right now, everyone is acting like ostriches burying their heads in the sand, thinking that if they cut themselves off from sources of stress, they will live happily ever after.

The problem is that you do not know how to cope with stress.

And by running away from sources of stress, you only become WEAKER!!!!

And weaker still. And weaker...

With every year.

You should not run away from stressful situations.

You should develop!

So.

Here is what I would recommend to you today—to all students of Mahapurna School.

First of all, when you have become stressed and have been under stress for many hours, days, or even years, start thinking about only one thing: the harm this prolonged stress is causing you right now.

You know that quite recently I wrote an article for you: Phrases No. 1

Think about the destructive consequences.

Do you really need that?

Why do you need destructive consequences?

I know there are many idiots who continue smoking even when they see pictures of cancer on the pack.

But you are an intelligent person!

Why make things worse for yourself?

As soon as you become stressed, immediately think that if you continue, you will begin to self-destruct.

This includes all kinds of illnesses and psychological problems.

I would recommend the Inner Smile from Qigong.

Practice the Inner Smile toward your entire body.

Toward your brain.

Let go of the situation.

You did not come to this Earth to get angry about every little thing.

Even if a loved one is getting involved in something you think they should not, let them go. It is their business, not yours.

Perhaps they will receive their dose of stress, and it will make them stronger.

But their life should not turn into your constant stress!

It is better to think about yourself.

Do what you can. And you know what you can do.

As for what will happen, leave it to God.

There is no reason here to destroy yourself with stress.

Веретенников Сергей Веретенников Сергей , thank you for the reminder about the inner smile practice. Mantak Chia, a Taoist qigong master, was the first person I encountered who introduced me to the practice of the inner smile.
I have been using this practice for many years. You can activate the inner smile anytime and anywhere. It is always with you; you do not need a special place, equipment, or time. Simply remember it from time to time during the day: smile, direct the smile inward toward your internal organs, and heal them. You can also transform any negative emotions into an inner smile. You can watch a video about the inner smile practice.
Smiles and love to everyone.
