OM Shanti, thank you very much. I believe breathing techniques are essential. Before this, I had not practiced Nadi Shodhana, although I had read about it on the Your Yoga website. I practiced Anuloma-Viloma and liked it very much. Now I have also started practicing Nadi Shodhana using your new method. It feels somewhat unfamiliar, but it is not difficult. And the audio program is very helpful—in the past, it seemed that I could easily keep track of the time myself, but I am surprised to discover that this is not the case at all.
OM Shanti, can it be practiced in parts throughout the day? For example, while reading or listening to something. That way it would become a regular habit. Or is it still more effective to practice continuously? Say, for an hour or half an hour. Continuity probably has its own significance.

, it can be done in parts. But gradually, your consciousness itself will begin to regulate the correctness of your breathing.
Although various everyday situations once again begin to throw your breathing out of its proper rhythm. In that case, you can return to the practice.
For example: you have been rushing around and getting nervous—practice for a while and restore your breathing.

OM Shanti, hello!
I have a problem with a deviated nasal septum, which causes my left nostril to breathe less freely than my right. Apparently, this makes my pronounced vata even more unbalanced. At the same time, I have fallen asleep almost my entire life only on my right side, which seems strange in theory, since the body should instead want to balance solar energy toward lunar energy.
In general, my question is: should I have surgery to correct the nasal septum, or will this practice allow me to balance the energies without surgical intervention?
Previously, I had surgery to remove growths from the septum. It helped only for a short time, and they grew back. Most likely, I will have to break the septum and reconstruct it.
