— How boring! ...I looked at Katya and Kira.
Of course, they’ll think I’ve gone mad!
But I would have stopped respecting myself if I had let such an opportunity pass me by.
— The sticks should be perpendicular, I said quietly.

Through chanting, a person receives a special benefit, regardless of what level they are at. If a person repeats it for themselves, it will benefit them, and if the repetition is pure, it will benefit others. Although this vibration can be heard in the material world, it also has a spiritual effect both on the person uttering it and on one who is spiritually advanced, who is Krishna-conscious.”

❝ Our world is immersed in an enormous ocean of energy; we fly through infinite space at an inconceivable speed. Everything around us rotates and moves—everything is energy. We face a tremendous task: to find ways of harnessing this energy. Then, by drawing it from this inexhaustible source, humanity will move forward in giant strides. ❞

Nikola Tesla

Love is the energy of life.

“Too much focus on intellect, too much training of the mind cuts off all connections with the Heart. Thousands of people do not know what the Heart is! The heart beats, but life energy does not pass through it; bypassing it, it goes directly to the head. You may be very skilled when it comes to logic, you may control logic, but you cannot control Love... Love is what you allow God to find you through.” Osho

“And yet, it’s amazing!” Penkroff added, apparently struggling to reconcile himself with the inevitable. “The world is wondrously arranged! Enormous books could be written if everything people know were recorded.
“And even thicker books could be written about what people still don’t know,” said Cyrus Smith.

“A person consciously lives for himself, but unconsciously serves as an instrument for achieving historical, universal human goals. Once committed, an act is irreversible, and its effect, coinciding in time with millions of other people’s actions, acquires historical significance. The higher a person stands on the social ladder, the more people he is connected with, and the more power he has over others, the more obvious are the predetermination and inevitability of each of his actions.”

Leo Tolstoy, “War and Peace”

“Every time I admire
Those who bring happiness with a smile,
Who are ready to help in difficult times,
Who do not wound with their words,
Who value friendship faithfully.
It’s a pity there aren’t very many of them,
Those who spread positivity,
Those who are simply People from God.”
Natalia Rozbitskaya

Four grandmothers sat on a bench.
One of them was Slava’s grandmother Kopeykina.
He practices sambo! He’s an important fellow!
Grandma is very proud of little Slava!
The second grandmother, sitting with a cane,
Was the grandmother of our top student, Kostya.
And the third old lady was Yegorka’s grandmother.
He reads books from cover to cover.
The fourth grandmother was Pashka’s grandmother;
He cooks lunch and washes shirts.
The grandmothers sat waiting for their grandchildren.
As usual, they discussed them thoroughly.
Each one’s grandchildren are good children!
And the best grandchildren in the world!

"Rabindranath Tagore taught us to sing; he showed that it is a natural form of self-expression, like that of birds."
*from Paramahansa Yogananda’s book "Autobiography of a Yogi," the words of Bhola Nath

Where the mind is without fear,
Where the head is held high,
Where knowledge is free,
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls,
Where words come out from the depth of truth,
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way
into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by You into ever-widening
thought and action—
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake!
*Rabindranath Tagore
