My soul, rejoice and sing,
Heaven’s inheritor:
Christ is risen, your Savior King,
He is risen indeed!
Yes! Before the Mighty One, Hell grew weak:
From the chains of the grave,
From death’s night, the Son of God
Raised you with Him.
From eternal light the Lord
Descended into darkness’ dwelling,
Clothed Himself in dust, took on flesh—
So that we would not perish!
Inexpressible love,
The height of every mystery!
For us His holy blood
He shed upon the cross.
With His purest blood
He redeemed us, fallen,
From torment and the grave, from the snares
And power of the dark forces.
Christ is risen, my Savior,
He is risen indeed.
Rejoice, my soul; before you He
Has opened Heaven’s gates!
A man walked on.
He walked across the steppe for a long, long time.
Where to? Why?
We will never know.
In a dense hollow he saw a wolf,
Or rather, a she-wolf,
More precisely, a mother...
She lay in the wormwood thickets,
Her paws thrown aside and her jaws bared.
From her constricted throat flowed
In pulses, blood as thick as mud.
By whom? A wolf?
Or hunting dogs?
The blind wolf cubs would never know.
Jostling and growling, they suckled
Such a strangely unyielding mother.
The hungry wolf cubs had forgotten
How powerfully dill smells in the thickets.
Pressed against her wounds, they greedily drank
The thickening, cooling blood.
And with it flowed in a thirst for revenge.
Against whom?
Anyone.
So long as they did not forgive.
And they would take revenge.
Separately,
Not together.
And if they met—
They would take revenge on each other.
And the man went on his way.
Where?... Why?...
We will never know.
He was a wolf hunter,
But he did not touch the cubs—
The mother no longer protected them...
"The power-hungry perish from power, the money-hungry from money, the slave from slavery, the seeker of pleasures from pleasures. So the Steppenwolf perished from his independence." Hermann Hesse, Steppenwolf
"Loneliness is independence; I wanted it and achieved it over many years. It was cold, like that cold, silent space where the stars revolve."
Hermann Hesse, Steppenwolf

"The stars will remain when even the shadows of our bodies and deeds are no longer left on Earth." M. Bulgakov
"How many stars are shining for me tonight.
As if angels are waiting for me in the sky.
And so often, so often, drop something down
In the darkness of night. They call me to themselves.
And reach toward me with rays of light,
And touch my soul so gently.
And seem to await a question or an answer...
Or perhaps they have long since stopped waiting.
Yes, I myself expect nothing anymore.
Neither from people nor from myself.
Day after day, I quietly see them out.
And watch life like a vulgar film.
...........
Yet I still love the night and the radiance of the stars.
And I hear loudly what they are silent about.
And a state within my heart comes alive
When all the strings of the universe resound..."
"Life in this world is a dream of forgetfulness that separates a person from true reality. Like a person who, having seen a fleeting dream, forgets the native city in which they lived for years, the soul gives itself over to the illusion and dream of this world and forgets its true homeland; it does not understand that this destructive world clouds the eyes, as a cloud hides the stars." D. Rumi
Before this ice, before these snows,
I am a speck of dust—barely more than nothing.
Everyone on earth is born a god,
But no one has yet dared to die a god.
Having gained everything, I lost it all again.
Having lost everything, I found it all once more.
And for a long, long time above the world's summit soared
An eagle, free as my soul.
Snow fell, and the summit ice glittered,
And somewhere nearby walked God and Man.
And I prayed to Their exalted image,
Passing from the old age into a New Age.
And I understood—there is only one Cause
Behind an infinity of exalted causes.
It alone is like a mountain summit,
Higher than all the countless peaks.
Before this ice, before these snows,
I am a speck of dust—barely more than nothing.
Everyone on earth is born a god,
But no one has yet dared to die a god.
"Mountains are made to show a person what a dream can look like..."
Yuri Vizbor
"The call of the high mountains… Perhaps it is part of humanity's eternal search, a kind of surplus of that vital energy which drives humankind from century to century in its attempt always to reach an ever higher peak of human aspiration?.. Even if the conquest of Everest becomes an ordinary event, there will always be higher Everests; even if in the distant future our Earth becomes a place without mysteries, there will always be other peaks to climb and other worlds to explore. For those who are ready to set out fearlessly into uncharted seas and toward unconquered peaks of human aspiration, there will never be a shortage of adventures for mind and body."
Jawaharlal Nehru
"This world is mountains, and our actions are cries; the echo of our cry in the mountains always returns to us." D. Rumi
"The one who moves mountains first removes the small stones." Confucius
"Every word, every rustle in the forest somehow resonates sensitively in the air and can still be heard for a long time afterward, repeated by the forest echo, until it dies away God knows how far away."
Sri Krishna continued:
"Fear constantly lives in people's hearts.
Sometimes it is the fear of losing their well-being.
Sometimes it is the fear of being humiliated.
At times it is the fear of being separated from those they love.
People are accustomed to living in fear.
Some think that the situation,
object, or person that caused their fear
is the cause of their suffering.
No. In reality, everything is different.
Experience helps people understand
that fear does not solve their future problems.
Fear arises in the mind when thinking
about possible troubles in the future.
But fear does not reflect reality.
And when you know
that the main cause of fear
is only your imagination,
try to free yourself from it
and live without fear!
Think about it!"
"With the help of the mind, a person should free themselves from material bondage, rather than degrade themselves by descending into lower forms of life. The mind can be both the soul's friend and its enemy." (Bhagavad Gita, verses 6.4–5)
"Who is your enemy? The mind is your enemy. No one can cause you more harm than your own uncontrolled mind.
And who is your friend? The mind is your friend. No one can help you more than your own wisely trained mind — not even your father and mother."
Buddha

You have two options: control your mind or allow your mind to control you" Paulo Coelho
"In uninterrupted solitude, the mind becomes increasingly sharp. You do not need a large laboratory to think and invent. Ideas are born in conditions where external circumstances do not influence the mind. The secret of inventiveness is solitude. Ideas are born in solitude." Nikola Tesla
"Mathematicians ignored the challenge and preferred to flee from nature by inventing all kinds of theories that do not explain in any way what we see or feel."

Chanakya Pandit wrote: “We have neither friends nor enemies. We divide people into friends and enemies solely on the basis of how they treat us.” No one is born either our enemy or our friend. It is only through mutual interaction that each of us takes on one role or another.
Just as in everyday life we enter into various relationships with other people, each of us can also have a particular relationship with ourselves. I can act as my own friend or as my own enemy.
If I wish myself well, I will strive to realize my true nature—to understand that I am a spiritual soul who has somehow found themselves in the material world—and I will do everything to free myself from material attachments by developing attachments to the spiritual. In this case, I am my own friend. However, if, having been given the opportunity to attain liberation, I fail to use it, I will become my own worst enemy.
