A little earlier I told you about the Mediterranean Sea.
You have all read this long ago.

It really is amazing.

And right here stand the Great Pyramids of Giza.

I even found the center—at the intersection:

They are located in the middle of the Earth.

The ancients singled out the North as the most important place on Earth.

And they called the place opposite the North—Not North.

Yes, exactly.

The Arctic is the North.

Anta means anti, the opposite. AntArctica.

In fact, the Arctic is the Pole Star, or the Bear Star.

Essentially, Antarctica is a mountain. It is 4 km to the center.

In some ways, it resembles a smaller Olympus on Mars.

Antarctica contains an enormous crater—which is currently considered the largest on Earth.

The crater was discovered by Americans using modern equipment capable of “seeing” through the ice.

The ancients believed that Antarctica was the end of the World. Because no matter how you sailed away from the North, you would run into the “wall” of Antarctica.

The lowest temperature ever recorded in Antarctica was −93 degrees.

For comparison, according to a scientific reference book: the average low temperature on Mars is −63 degrees.

That is, it would be warmer for a person on Mars :)
