The Filioque Schism.

You may be surprised, but the only reason for the schism in Christianity in 1054 was a single word.

That is, until 1054, everyone believed in Christ in the same way. And then the schism occurred.

Because of a single word!

And that word was:

So, look: Christians had a single idea (there were not yet any Orthodox or Catholics):

I believe in the Father, from whom the Holy Spirit proceeds, and in His Son.​

But in 1054, some of them decided to put it this way:

I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from them.​

That is, they added just one word, "filioque," which means "and from the Son."

In general, it is strange that the largest religious institution on Earth fell out over a single word referring to the Father, at a time when, in their own COMMON book, the Father is Gods.

This is absolutely certain and not subject to any doubt or other interpretations—in the Bible, it is UNAMBIGUOUSLY written in black and white that it is not God, but GODS.

In the plural. Exactly as in the Quran.

This is not a monotheistic religion at its core.

Neither the Bible nor the Quran speaks of one God.

It speaks in the plural.

Against this background, it is strange to see a dispute over whether the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father alone or not, when the Father is not even something that is ONE.

It consists of many things.
