I came up with this type of Yoga by accident. I was simply listening to music on YouTube and doing my usual Hatha Yoga routine.
As you already know, many years ago I made a collection of music for exercise for you. It is still there. Namely, here. In fact, I made as many as three collections for you. They are all neatly gathered at this link. And they have been there for a very long time...
So, based on feedback from some of you, I learned that you really liked the exercise music I put together, and, most importantly, that it genuinely gave you strength during your workouts. That was, in fact, the main purpose. I even called it musical doping.
But all that is ancient history. Today, Yoga is on our agenda.
And not just ordinary Yoga, but TransYoga.
By the way, do you know what “trans” means? Trans is a Latin word.
It means crossing beyond the limits of something. For example, there is transpersonal psychology. Yes, the very same field I studied for two years—here. And I have some very nice officially recognized diplomas to show for it...
Later, I also studied NLP Practitioner and Master training at the Institute of European Certification. There, inducing a trance is given a great deal of importance...
There is also trance music... Oh no, not the kind that makes you nod off, but quite the opposite
That is what we are discussing today. That is exactly what I mean.
That is what I was listening to.
And the essence of TransYoga is to do your usual Yoga routine to trance music.
I made a small compilation for you. It is 21 minutes long. I may make another one in the future.
Listen:
The essence of this routine is that you release more life energy. You become more charged with positivity, rhythm, and dynamic strength.
Give it a try. This type of Yoga probably will not appeal to everyone. But those it does appeal to will appreciate it 100%.
Enjoy your TransYoga!
According to the highly respected Erickson, "trance is therapeutic in itself (that is, simply being in it), because during it psychological restructuring is possible that is difficult to achieve in an ‘ordinary’ state of consciousness." That is what Wikipedia says. It is difficult to disagree.
Besides, surely you read about Erickson a long time ago—HERE.
And also from Wikipedia:
When a person intentionally enters trance states, many spiritual schools of Eastern countries call this trance meditation.
I would also add that, considering Shamanism is at least 40,000 years old (and this is a fact proven by scientists), trance is just as old. Because it is simply impossible to separate Shamanism from the trance state.
