Very many people talk about how, what, how much, and when one should eat. But very few talk about water.

And I have been telling you for a long time that water is more important than food, air is more important than water, and energy is even more important than air.

Hence, for example, the value of breathing compared with eating or drinking water.

But today I will say a little about water.

The most important rule:

This is the most important rule, which essentially makes all the other rules unnecessary.

Your body knows exactly how much water to drink—not all these "two liters a day," or someone saying, "at least 4 liters"...

These fixed figures are not individual. Therefore, they are erroneous.

But the rule I gave you above is individual.

Follow it for a week and you will feel improvements. Moreover, you will adopt a healthy—and, most importantly, personal and individual—water-drinking routine.

Thank you, Teacher! For some time now, I have constantly kept one or two glasses of water nearby. If I am working in the kitchen, I first set a glass of filtered water for myself. As I have found for myself, if you see water, you feel like taking a sip, and you drink a little. I really enjoy drinking from transparent crystal tea glasses, as if the water merges with the glass. And in summer, from springs out in nature—straight from my cupped hands. You keep drinking this water simply because it is so delicious, especially in the mountains.
And the rule you shared was very unexpected for me. Yes, drinking water is also a skill. Thank you!

Quite often lately, this has been happening: an impulse arises in my mind about "having to drink some water," "having to go get water while it is still light outside," and so on. At the same time, there is pleasant moisture in my mouth (or droplets form on their own), and I do not feel like drinking at all. So I do not go get water. Sometimes I do not feel like drinking for a long time. Until morning. Or I eat a mango and that's it. I'm full of water. 😍

Thank you!

Thank you, Teacher, for the reminder. Lately it has mostly been tea (green tea with mint), coffee, or milk (regular or sour), while I have started drinking little plain water—and yes, sometimes I really crave drinking hot water.

Thank you. Usually, these "2–4 liters a day" lead to a point where you "can't even look at water." And perhaps one should keep a diary for some time, tracking both the onset of thirst and what kind of water one drinks.

As for me, I drink only distilled water. After many years of using various filters, I came to the conclusion that there is no better filtration than a mini version of nature itself—recreating rainwater at home.

I wrote about this on the Your Yoga website.
For example, here:
Your Yoga. A Distiller and a Modern Juicer

And I have been writing about water on my website since 2008:
Your Yoga. Working with the Elements. Water. Water Purification.

But ultimately, I switched to distilled water. First, this makes it possible to avoid plastic, since the distiller is metal, while the water purifier is plastic.

Secondly, a water purifier takes up space and also requires money, maintenance, attention, and time.

It is much more convenient to distill water immediately and obtain the purest water possible, without any plastic coming into contact with it.

Read all my articles about water on my website. This is very important information.

I personally cannot understand how people can want to be healthy and drink tap water.

Especially nowadays.

The environment you are in and the people around you are also important.
Quite recently, I had to interact with some people. After that, I no longer felt like going to the well to get water, for example. It was as though laziness overcame me, and my hand reached for the tap water instead. Or I felt like buying a plastic bottle at the store. Before that interaction, I had not noticed anything like this in myself for a long time (I used a metal water bucket and a 3-liter jar with a metal lid).
Perhaps this is also how the Third Eye works through the body. And the female body is very sensitive.
At such moments as well (when these things happen through life situations), the strength of Sadhana is tested. The spaces of practitioners also help—for example, Mahapurna, which offers protection.

Веретенников Сергей Веретенников Сергей ,
May I ask a question? :) In distilled water, we raise the pH using baking soda, but its ORP remains at +200 to +300. Is it necessary to lower it to negative values before drinking it? I’ve noticed that water with a negative ORP has become fashionable lately.

A few days ago, snow fell and covered the ground nicely. It is clean outside the city, so I decided to fill a bucket with it. The snow melted and... I drank some. For some reason, I had the idea that the water would be tasteless and that I would have to get used to it.
But it turned out to be really delicious and rich in taste. I got enormous pleasure from it, and it felt energetically nourishing! Tastier than water from the well. :)
It’s wonderful that the Lord gives us winter days with clean snow and water. 👍

I was also in the forest outside the city today. The day before, freezing rain had fallen, and everything—even the smallest branches on the trees—was covered with a transparent layer of ice. I couldn’t resist and ate one of these icicles :) It had a very unusual taste, somewhat reminiscent of ozone, as if you were drinking a thundercloud. :)

Also, in addition to the topic of water from snow.
These days, I realized how important it is to do everything on time. Fresh, clean snow fell. And if you are doing a practice, you need to collect it immediately, while it is still clean, and in the required quantity. It turns out that tomorrow there may no longer be any snow like this (it may have melted, become contaminated, etc.).
So, it is given from Above, through nature, in the moment, completely free of charge, yet the opportunity is often not used.

I worked a little with melted snow water: collecting it, drinking it, and watering plants.
It is still too early to say anything about drinking it or its effect on the body, as little time has passed.

Collecting water ❄
Even clean, freshly fallen snow in a place far from the city may not be entirely suitable for drinking. When the water had settled for a while and warmed slightly (I placed it on a radiator; a stove could be used, for example, while preserving its natural properties, i.e. without boiling it), I noticed a small amount of sediment.
That is, it may be necessary to strain the snow water as well.

Watering 💧🌱
Tulasi almost immediately produced several flowering branches (in winter, when there is little sunlight or warmth). Before that, in autumn, it produced one or two branches at a time. That is, this water has a positive effect on fruiting. And the Sacred Plant shows that the water is beneficial.

Storage ⛲
I use a galvanized bucket, a basin, and jars with metal screw-top lids. This is environmentally friendly, and therefore beneficial as well, which I wish for everyone at the Mahapurna School.

I use a galvanized bucket...
I don't know who conducted the research or where the figures came from, but there is information like this: "Even in clean fresh water, zinc corrodes rather intensely in the presence of air; colloidal zinc hydroxide particles and, to some extent, zinc ions enter the water, and zinc is readily absorbed from water in both forms. The maximum permissible zinc intake is 25 mg per day; when more enters the body, zinc begins to accumulate and eventually causes poisoning. For comparison, a galvanized bucket contains approximately 100 g of zinc on the inside, which is almost completely "eaten away" in about five years. Thus, if you drink water from such a bucket, you will receive a daily dose of 55 mg of zinc—twice the permissible amount. But that is not even the main danger. Zinc almost always contains the far more toxic cadmium. Moreover, in technical-grade zinc, its content is measured in tenths of a percent, and its toxicity is almost entirely determined by the cadmium." (Source: Can water be stored in a galvanized bucket? Is it harmful to the body?).
Water collection ❄
Even clean, freshly fallen snow in a location far from the city may not be entirely suitable for drinking.
I agree. Tall smokestacks emit dozens or hundreds of kilograms, and sometimes tons, of pollutants per year from a single facility. The wind picks up the pollutants and carries them along the prevailing wind directions over enormous distances. And when the pollutants get into the clouds, that's when a whole different story begins—the movement of clouds across the sky is a complicated matter, and these pollutants can fall out, having entered into dangerous contact with one another, so far from their source of release and emission that it is astonishing.

330 330 , regarding galvanization. You can pour the water into glass, of course, for safety.
There are buckets with other metal coatings.
If you practice sadhana, it often steers you away from actions that could cause harm (for example, on a day with "dirty" snow, for some reason you simply don't go collect it). It works in various situations.
There are methods on Your Yoga for cleansing the water's energy: IDP, an energy concentrator, ...
