What is winter? Winter is the Cosmos.
What on Planet Earth resembles winter? The mountains. On the mountaintops—it is winter.
Why?
Because the mountaintops are closer to the Cosmos.
The closer to the Cosmos—the closer to winter.
Winter is the Cosmos descending to Earth.
In the Cosmos, everything freezes instantly.
Meteorites or comets are often made of ice. Because in the Cosmos, everything is winter.
Aircraft that fly high (closer to the Cosmos) must have an anti-icing system.
In winter, Nature makes everyone more frozen, more cosmic.
The qualities of the Cosmos descend to Earth.
Frogs freeze in ice—their lives stop. But warmth will come, and they will thaw and start jumping and croaking in ponds again.
Bears stop their metabolism. Animals enter altered states of consciousness.
And all this is thanks to winter—the Cosmos that has descended from above.
Yogis go into the mountains, into winter—to become closer to the Cosmos.
The Cosmos makes us more meditative, more peaceful...
I remember Wim Hof saying that to stop the cold from causing you pain, relax. Can you imagine? You climb into a bath filled with floating ice cubes, and someone is shouting in your ear, "RELAX!!!!"
The cold is a teacher. Winter is a teacher. The Cosmos is a teacher.
I have always told you—with the arrival of winter, the Cosmos arrives; it is time to stop.
At this time, the Heavens, the Cosmos, descend upon people.
Have you heard the term "eye of the cyclone"? At the center of a cyclone there is silence, peace, and cold. From a space station, the center of a cyclone looks like an Eye.
At the very center of a cyclone, it is cold—the Cosmos has descended there onto Earth. The Cosmos seems to be "screwing itself" into the Earth through the circular movement of the air mass. You may have seen this in the film "The Day After Tomorrow."
