I think that Luck and Good Fortune are both a Power and special types of energy, as well as certain siddhis that contribute to a favorable turn of events (literally, the ability to be in the right place at the right time and receive something truly needed, both materially and spiritually). In different traditions, there are various Gods and deities who guard this Power, and people turn to them with requests to grant Luck and Good Fortune, either by performing rituals or through austerities. For example, we are currently taking part in a mantra-recitation Marathon for the Goddess Lakshmi . And most likely, Karma also influences whether or not one receives luck and good fortune, while a horoscope or birth chart shows how much of this Power each person receives at birth. In general, being born in a human body and having the opportunity to develop spiritually is already a great stroke of luck. I have also heard different Teachers express the view that sincerely turning to the Supreme Being can completely purify Karma and change one's Destiny, and that by embarking on the Spiritual Path and entrusting oneself to God, one enters the flow of Luck and Good Fortune!

How does it help?
Each time, in a different way, depending on the situation.
Sometimes it helps you meet the right people—those who know or can do more and are willing to share their knowledge with a lucky person
Sometimes it creates a chain of events so that what a person has planned goes smoothly and seems to happen by itself, “like clockwork.”
Sometimes it comes to a person in the form of gifts or little pleasant surprises, chance encounters, and unexpected events that later turn out to be beneficial. More often than not, the person themselves has planned or expected nothing of the kind, and is pleasantly surprised each time that it happened.

But luck and good fortune never come to those who complain about their fate, to ungrateful people, or to those who do nothing to fulfill their desires.

So it seems that luck and good fortune are a kind of bonus from the Universe—usually unforeseen, but always favorable—for those who are content with what they already have and do not sit idle, but act in the right direction. Luck and good fortune also come to those who are open to new things and ready to change—or, more precisely, adjust—their plans to rapidly changing events. In other words, they are in the flow and listen to their intuitive insights (or, more precisely, hear the Universe’s guidance about what would be best for them in that particular case).

Piety is goodness and honor—in other words, the energy of goodness.
If, through studying at the School and Ashram, I now understand what to do to attract goodness and remain in it as much as I can, then I still have questions about luck, and not everything is clear. It is also not clear whether it is something separate from overall goodness or one of its components, which may or may not be present.
Perhaps it will be clearer to some people if I explain that by goodness I mean the Sattva guna.
I also think that it is a certain favor from the Higher One toward us when we correspond to Their plans.
Of course, this again involves goodness, which flows toward us, expressed by the second part of the word—favor.
And regardless of how we relate to the reality we perceive, all changes happen only because God wants them to, and then His devoted servants, the gods, bring the idea into reality. If we are willing to fit into what has been conceived, then goodness will come to us.

For me, luck and good fortune are like a different set of clothes. I understood good fortune very well after becoming acquainted with the Ra fields. You put on the Ra field—different clothes—and suddenly the whole world changes. Invisible vibrations materialize and arrange themselves in such a way that you begin to manage to be everywhere on time; and if you are late somewhere, that is luck. You meet exactly the people who will help you solve an issue, even if you did not know about that solution yourself. You end up where you need to be, you hear what you need to hear, and other people hear in your words what will help you later on. Good fortune is especially vivid in one’s work; it also manifests in ordinary life, but we rarely notice it. A green traffic light, a sunny day—you can even fall, but fall very fortunately. Once I drove into a Mercedes; there was severe black ice, summer tires, and an urgent need to leave. I reached the intersection, but the car did not stop and rolled about 10 meters along the packed-down surface. There was not a single scratch on the Mercedes—nothing at all, not even anything to complain about. And then I turned back, and it was a great stroke of luck, because there were a great many accidents in the city at that time.

This becomes possible when there is an adequate response to the circumstances of the external world and life situations. For example, you immediately notice an opportunity and take action—or, conversely, do not act and wait. I agree with the previous comments; intuition also helps with responding appropriately. Previous karma either helps or complicates/obscures our true perception. I have also wondered, for example, about KEI, when we accept the Luck registers—that is, whether it is a specific energy, or whether we attune ourselves to a certain flow of energy in which everything happens at the right time.
Could this be remaining in the “present moment”? That thought occurred to me.

Luck is the energy of favorable circumstances coming together in life (success).
Good fortune, essentially, is a synonym for luck for me personally.

Luck may be the result of a person’s efforts in past or present lives through performing благоприятные поступки, essentially smoothing the sharp edges along the turns of life’s road through adversity. And although it cannot be bought in a store as such, it can probably be attracted into one’s life by using various rituals—for example, drawing runes on clothing, houses, or weapons.
