Continuation of the previous lesson.
As I already said above, there is a complete method with everything included; the full set (together with the method) was available on the doTERRA website. It was available when I created this course. Now it is not. But you should not lose hope. The full set should appear again.
If you decide to buy from resellers rather than from the doTERRA website, the price will be 25% higher. And that is the minimum. Therefore, I recommend looking at how to buy it at the lowest price -
here.
The set looks like this:
The procedure itself looks approximately like this:
The following information is for those who were unable to buy this complete set but bought the basic set.
It was discussed -
here.
And this set contains practically everything you need.
First of all, I want to say that I do not like the name AromaTouch. Because the massage is not really about aromas at all, but about essential oils—the effect of the essential oil on our body.
Therefore, I would call it Essential Touch.
The method is simple. It is accessible even to those who have never studied massage at all, because you do not actually need to massage anything. These are gentle stroking movements.
It is very beneficial to have someone who can give you this massage. For example, it could be a family member.
I will also try to explain how you can do it yourself.
Let me repeat that everything below is a variation of this official massage.
And I am providing it only because many people cannot afford the complete massage.
That is why variations are devised—more affordable ones...
First stage.
Suppose you have decided to give a massage to a family member.
They are lying comfortably on their stomach.
Apply a small amount of coconut oil to the spine. Gently distribute it along the spine with your fingertips.
Now everything depends on which oils you have.
If you bought only the basic set (the home essential-oil first-aid kit), drip a couple of drops of frankincense oil onto the spine. Distribute this oil along the spine using the same light massage movements, moving up and down the spine, including the neck. The neck is also part of the spine. If you have Balance oil, use it instead (using about 5 drops).
Move along the spine for about a minute. Then spread the oil across the entire back, using the same light massage movements. The movements begin at the spine, as if you were drawing the branches of a tree from its trunk.
When massaging the spine, the movements should go mainly upward from the tailbone—as though the tree were growing.
That was the first stage.
Second stage.
Now you take the second oil. This oil is
On Guard.
You already have this oil because it is included in the basic set. Do exactly the same as with the first oil: drip a couple of drops onto the spine, and so on, as I described above.
Third stage.
Drip a couple of drops of lavender and one drop of peppermint.
And repeat everything in exactly the same way.
For the third stage, if you have them, you can add one drop each of the following oils: eucalyptus, basil, and grapefruit.
Fourth stage.

This completes the procedure for the spine, and we move on to the feet.
Fifth stage.
I will tell you about the fifth stage in the next lesson...
Self-massage
For now, I will explain how you can do all of this yourself.
Sit comfortably, preferably on a chair. Perform all the stages on yourself, but only in areas your hands can reach: the tailbone/lower-back area, and of course the neck and shoulders.
Do everything in exactly the same way, but on these areas.
I also want to add that since you are massaging yourself, you should also include an abdominal massage. In other words, do everything the same way, but massage the abdomen as well, using stroking movements up and down and clockwise (following the movement of the large intestine).
People who have undergone this massage say that it felt as though they experienced a neural reboot—a cleansing and renewal of consciousness.
It is important not to hurry anywhere, but to remain aware of your feelings and sensations. In a sense, this is an emotional massage, a massage of the nervous system. There is no need to rush; otherwise, you may miss everything. Enjoy the massage. Relax and let go of negative, stressful situations...
You should help the essential oils penetrate as deeply as possible. And to do that, you need to open yourself to them.
