Why is it so important to know the truth about leader worship?​

Sooner or later, all leaders lead people to the slaughter, whatever they may be called, for some of their own absurd—often paranoid—ideas.

I was here at the time:

Indifference to what is happening on Earth is similar to karma​

What is Karma?

When you do something—or fail to do something—and only receive the consequences later, often even in a future life.

There is no instant karma, as people have been making up on the internet nowadays.

Karma was deliberately designed by the Universe so that a foolish person does not understand where what is happening to them now is coming from.

The effect of Karma would be meaningless if someone insulted another person, kept the neighbors awake all night dancing until morning, beat someone up, and so on—and Karma took effect immediately.

No.

That is precisely what Karma is about: a person feels that doing Good is meaningless. Because right now they are doing all sorts of nasty things, lying, beating others, killing, insulting—and nothing happens to them. Meanwhile, another person is kind, helps others, is against war, meditates—and has problems...

If Karma worked immediately, everyone would have understood it long ago. And it would already be a business.

The same applies to helping the Earth—nothing will happen immediately. And it seems pointless.

That there is no point in protesting against wars, against the seizure of some people by other people, against genocide, fascism, and so on.... And not only is it pointless—you will also be pelted with stones by your fellow citizens.

Just like with Karma.

But that won't work with Karma.

There is nothing more all-knowing than Karma.

I have already watched at least two films with a very NEW plot.
I mentioned one such film to you once in my Ashram.

The plot is as follows:

Someone calls a person and blackmails them.

The blackmail involves something very important. It could be anything of value: either some aspect of their private life that they are keeping secret, or a threat to their loved ones...

Refusing is impossible.

The blackmailed person has to do something.

It even seems that this something is not very dangerous.

For example, to take a box from one person and deliver it to someone else.

Or to let another person’s suitcase through customs without inspection.

It looks quite harmless.

The point is that all the people in this chain are victims.

People take part in a long chain of events. And each one follows an order.

There was only ONE person who was against the war!

1. Rasputin as a “peace adviser”

Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin was not merely a “monk,” as he is often portrayed by the public, but an influential mystic, spiritual mentor, and political intriguer with direct access to the imperial family.


When tensions between Serbia and Austria-Hungary escalated in July 1914, Rasputin, who was in Siberia after an assassination attempt, sent a telegram to Nicholas II.


2. Rasputin’s prophetic letter to the Tsar (quoted from contemporaries’ memoirs):

“War means the end of Russia, its destruction, and your end, Sovereign...
If Russia enters the war, everything will collapse.
All of Russia will be drenched in blood, and it will wash you away.”

This is not an exact quotation from the archives (the original letter has not survived), but these words are conveyed in the memoirs of courtiers, especially Anna Vyrubova, a close friend of the empress.


3. Nicholas II ignored the warning

• Nicholas was under pressure from the General Staff, patriotic public opinion, and the Entente allies (France and Britain).
• His belief in the need to defend Serbia as a “brotherly nation” also played a role.
• Empress Alexandra, despite her attachment to Rasputin, supported the military course (partly under the influence of her German heritage and ambiguous political position).

Everything Rasputin warned about came true with frightening accuracy:

• Massive human losses (more than 2 million dead),
• Economic collapse,
• Mass discontent,
• The February Revolution and Nicholas II’s abdication,
• The death of the entire imperial family.

5. The conspiracy against Rasputin

Interestingly, according to some historians, it was precisely his pacifist position that became one of the reasons for his murder in December 1916:

• Many noblemen, generals, and politicians believed that he was harming Russia’s military interests.
• Rasputin was accused of “German espionage” and treason, although there was no evidence.

Conclusion

Rasputin opposed Russia’s entry into the war.
He sensed that it would be a fatal mistake—and he was right.
Unfortunately, his voice was drowned out by the roar of patriotic speeches, the generals’ ambitions, and pressure from the allies.


The First World War (1914–1917)—a blow to the Russian Empire

Russia entered the war on a wave of patriotism. But things quickly went downhill:

• horrendous losses (millions dead),
• shortages of weapons, food, and transport,
• the disintegration of the army,
• a deep economic crisis.

Nicholas II essentially unleashed the First World War while pretending to defend Orthodox Slavs.
