Cosmic Home
When, in the silent stillness of night,
I gaze into the starry veil,
A heartfelt call sounds unevenly,
Like sorrow that will never fade.
As though somewhere beyond the luminaries,
Beyond the Milky Way’s misty void,
My home is sketched in ink
Upon leaves of eternal purity.
Why do you grieve, earthly body?
Restrain your sorrow and your ardor...
My heart sang of God once more—
As though I had already been there.
Life is a fleeting vision,
Like a spark in the twilight of worlds,
Containing dreams and fear, revelation,
Love and the pain of earthly chains.
And how desirable it is, in the vortex of light,
Where joy contends with sorrow,
Seeking an answer in the soul all one’s life,
To hear the call: “You are not of this earth.
You were and you will be. You journey
Through all worlds, through dreams and distances.
And everything you seek—you will find.
We are here! And it was only you we awaited.
And if your path is covered in dust—
And if you are tired of wandering,
Remember the Truth: the answer
Lies only in not being born again.
But you will return—not in words,
But in spirit, in song, in trembling,
In the flame of a candle, in heavenly dreams,
In a tear and in quiet waiting.”
