Today is the Autumnal Equinox. This is a time for learning and discovering something new—the best period to begin studying... And today I am opening the “Soul of the Enneagram” course.
Course description — HERE.
The Enneagram is a unique Tool that can be used in any area of a person’s life. And the Enneagram helps everywhere.
The ultimate meaning of the Enneagram is not to discover your type, but to grow to spiritual heights. The Enneagram shows this step by step.
It literally uses arrows to show where you need to move in order to evolve.
How to become your true, original self—that is the Enneagram’s main function.
It is important for me to speak about the four Paths of development described by Gurdjieff. The First Path is the path of the body, or the path of the fakir, when a person strives to develop the Spirit through the development of the body—for example, attaining the ability to walk on coals, go without food for long periods, or stop breathing and even the heart without harming oneself. These are ancient forms of exercise, such as Hatha Yoga, Qigong, and so on. The Second Path is the path of the monk: renunciation of various worldly pleasures, chiefly sexual abstinence. It is a religious path in which there are good qualities in a person that need to be cultivated, and bad ones that need to be suppressed. The Third Path is the path of the true Yogi, in which a person exercises the mind and consciousness. The aim of such exercises is to enter samadhi, the higher levels of Cosmic Consciousness. And the Fourth Path is the Path that unites all the previous ones, while not imposing such rigid dependence on external circumstances. In other words, it is a path available to anyone, including a layperson, when ordinary life itself becomes such a Path.
