Namaste, everyone! An unusual intensive; thank you, Om Shanti. I became interested in observing this.
Looking back retrospectively, I have slept with my head facing different directions. In recent years, east and north. Intuitively, these feel like the most suitable directions for me, but I also often practice, meditate, and remain in sattva.
In earlier years, I sometimes had disturbing dreams, but I associated them not with the cardinal directions, but with being stuck in prolonged situations, emotional ups and downs, and an inability to resolve a difficult issue.
It also depends on the background in the environment and the energies of the planets: significant astronomical events, portal days (Yule, Beltane, etc.).
Starting today, I will try sleeping with my head facing different directions—and will write if there are any changes.
For the experiment to be conclusive, the initial conditions should be the same.
Recently, I heard a dream practitioner say that the necessary conditions must be created for this. The bedroom temperature should be no higher than +16°C, food should be very light and without spices, salt should be avoided for several hours before bedtime, and the humidity outside should be 50%. It is advisable to get enough sleep.
Success to everyone, and gratitude

for sharing!
