The temple is located in Mayapur.

Mayapur is a suburb of Navadvipa, near the Ganges.

In Sanskrit, nava means “nine,” and dvīpa means “island.”

Mayapur—pur means city, while maya is the energy that enslaves the Soul and makes it think that it is the body.

It would seem to be a rather unfortunate place, with such an unfortunate name, for building a great Temple.

For example, there is the city of Jaipur—a victorious city—and many similar ones.

Why Mayapur?

Because Mayapur is the center of Maya.

It is her heart.



Do you understand?

If you conquer a person’s heart, you conquer the whole person.

We are conquering Maya at her heart.

That is why the Saints said that when this Temple is built, Maya will be conquered.

Wars will end across the entire Earth because Maya will grow weaker.

It has been said more than once that many Saints saw this Temple already built long before our events.

I also mentioned an unusual story here — YourYoga Mahapurna. Helping to build the Vedic Planetarium, mentioning Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati, who also possessed the gift of clairvoyance.

And now I will tell you the real story of his clairvoyance.

It will tell you that the vision of this Temple is not at all the product of some dreams or intense desires. It is genuine clairvoyance.

This is a well-known story.
You can even find it online yourself.

Thus:

Once, when he was still living in the house of Bhaktivinoda, his father, he was walking along the road toward Nrisimha-pali. This is Lord Nrisimha’s place in Navadvipa. He passed by this site, which at that time was overgrown with thickets, and when he reached it, Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati stopped and asked his disciples who owned the land, saying that he wanted to buy it.

The next day, the disciples found the owner of the land. He was a Muslim. They spoke with him and said that their Guru Maharaj wanted to buy this land, which was overgrown with trees. The owner said that the land was useless—why did they need it?

It was completely worthless land. The owner said so himself: there was nothing there, and they would only waste their money!

He said he could sell them good land on which vegetables could be grown. But Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati insisted on having his way.

Once the formalities had been completed and Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati had become the legal owner, he immediately sent several brahmachari disciples to the site and ordered them to excavate it. Beneath the layer of earth, the disciples found fragments of beautifully finished walls, columns, slabs, sculptures… Right there, they also saw a huge cobra with a jewel on its head, as if guarding an abandoned palace.

Suvarṇa Sena was an ancient ruler of Bengal (the Sena dynasty, 11th–12th centuries),
whose name literally means “Golden King”.

According to tradition:

• he had a palace in the Navadvipa region,
• the palace was rich, with temples, halls, and ornaments,
• after the Muslim invasions and floods of the Ganges, it sank underground — and was forgotten.

Why is the temple of King Suvarṇa Sena important?

The Story of Suvarṇa Sena​

King Suvarṇa Sena lived in Satya-yuga (the Golden Age, a very long time ago). He ruled his kingdom for many years and knew no peace even in his old age. The king’s mind burned with material desires; he constantly thought only about how to increase his wealth. Who knows what guiding star led Narada Muni to him? Having accepted the king’s lavish worship, Narada took him to a secluded place and graciously spoke to him about the Absolute Truth.

“O King,” said Narada, “your days are passing uselessly, occupied with thoughts of material wealth. Know that all these riches are meaningless. Spiritual knowledge is the true treasure. What binds you to your wife, sons, or friends? After your death, they will immerse your body in the Ganges and return home. Why live by false hopes and aspirations? Any attempt to satisfy the thirst for material pleasures is like trying to quench one’s thirst with a drop of water.”

Suddenly Narada disappeared, and the king was left alone, but his heart filled with bliss.

He spent the rest of his life worshipping God.

This joint action of ours, united under the name “YourYoga Mahapurna,” essentially benefits many areas.

1. First of all, we are genuinely participating in the construction of something magnificent. Even if we set spirituality aside, the project is magnificent. It is being approached with great care, because it is not being built by ordinary workers (as at a factory—one shift ends and that’s it); everyone involved is doing it wholeheartedly. As if it were their own home.
There is no obligation here; it all comes from the heart.

2. Even if there is the slightest chance that the saints’ prophecy will come true, that wars will end and the Golden Age will begin after the Temple is completed, it is worth taking advantage of. There have been so many materialistic projects that were far more expensive—and produced no results. So perhaps this one will work.

3. Whatever happens, we are building the Temple. This is our personal contribution. We are doing it for a certain Higher Power that revealed itself in the Vedas and stated that this is a deed pleasing to the Higher Power.

4. We all want to do something meaningful in life. For those who have no goal, every day is gray, nothing unusual happened yesterday, and nothing significant happens today... Gray days, depression, pills... Because the meaning of life does not appear by itself. It must be found. We have to search. There is much around us awaiting our participation. It is always easier to do things together.

I have good news.

As I said, we are the first. And for now, we are even the only ones.

Initially, the condition was that five parties would each raise 1 million rubles, and all of them would be identified by an inscription on the picture next to the artist who painted it.
And until 5 million was raised, there would be no inscription for anyone.

But today there is good news.

We will not have to wait for four more parties to raise 1 million each. Once we raise 1 million, our group’s inscription will appear on the painting.

In short, the space is changing to accommodate us as pioneers.
