In the Your Yoga group on VK, I have started posting a new animated film about Hanuman with Russian voice-over. I announced this project in my Ashram—Sadhana-Ashram—so those in the Ashram already know about it in advance.

I watched episode 2 as well—the series is "fire," I really enjoyed it. The translation is flawless. Everything was done perfectly. If you haven't watched it yet, be sure to watch it. I got to know Hanuman better through the series "Shani Dev." It is the story of the birth and life of Shani (Saturn), and Hanuman was his friend; the series also tells his story in detail. I have loved Shani ever since—I watched it and cried... It seemed to me then that Shani was probably the most long-suffering being in the universe; he had so much to endure from childhood... For some reason, the link won't insert here. There are many more series there, and I was especially impressed by Mahabharat (2013) and Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. I sometimes rewatch them.

What a wonderful film, created with devotion and love down to the smallest details. Watching it immerses you in an aesthetic atmosphere, an atmosphere of learning devotion and service on the path of Dharma.
The film’s second season reveals very profound knowledge and teachings. The entire 14th episode could be transcribed into instructive quotations. Uncle Jambavan gives Angada advice: "What he (Angada’s father, Bali) became should not overshadow what he was. He was a legend ..." followed by a list of his virtues rather than his shortcomings — that is where the wisdom lies. He also inspired Angada to learn from his father’s mistakes: "I ask you not to equal him; I ask you to surpass him."
"If you want to honor the person he was, become even better. That is what all fathers wish for."
As Uncle said about Vayu: "A child’s first cry is a prayer to Vayu. The very act of breathing is a ritual honoring the God of Wind. He is with us every moment of our lives, and our final breath is what we return to Him."
Hanuman’s trials and his divine nature and mighty powers establish him in the service of Dharma.
Such heroes and deeds are deeply inspiring and strengthen the spirit.

Today I watched the fifteenth episode. And I want to write about my first impressions and what I particularly noticed. I am not saying that I understood it...
