I will soon post a video of Devdas Maharaj, from which you can literally study the practice of mudras. And in the form in which they were practiced thousands of years ago—not as they are practiced now in yoga fitness centers.

For now, I am posting only a description:

I recommend that you take a pen and paper and write things down.
If you do not catch the name of a particular mudra, do not worry; write it down as you heard it.
The main thing is that later you can recall from your notes how the fingers are joined and where you need to look. And most importantly, write down the mantra you recite.
This will be enough to begin practicing mudras.
In other words, simply write down the pattern for joining the fingers. The names are not that important. Memorize the mudras by their patterns. For example, join four fingers. That is a mudra. Remember it that way. Which mantra you recite and where to look.
By the way, follow the Master right away. You will memorize them faster that way.
And you can always watch it a second time.
Your palms will start to "burn" from the energy—that is normal.

And for now, a short video:

First there will be a video showing how to perform the mudras technically, followed by a second video explaining what these mudras are for.

Absolutely fascinating! It turns out that mudras are practiced in sequences rather than individually.
The sensations in the body are interesting; my hands immediately became hot, as if electricity started flowing through channels where it had not flowed before. It resembles attunement to the primordial elements. It is as if you are reading a poem, but speaking through your hands.

Here is the first video. I improved the sound in it (reduced the noise and boosted the female translator’s voice), because originally it was almost impossible to hear anything. It’s better now.

If anyone practices along with this video and writes down the mantras for each mudra, they can post all the sung mantras in this thread.

I may do it myself, but it’s a 50/50 chance.

The mantras are actually mostly simple. But some of them may really be unfamiliar to you. You can skip them if you can’t make out the words.
For example—Hari Om Tat Sat or Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya...
These are well-known mantras. At the very least, anyone who has been practicing on my Your Yoga website for a long time will know them.

I especially want to add that you are unlikely to find such an ancient approach to mudras in yoga centers or similar establishments and websites. At most, you will find something about Gyan Mudra and so on, along with a strange description that, in turn, has been copied from some other websites or yoga centers... I think you understand what I mean.

Every video has timestamps; you can name the minute where something is unclear to you, and perhaps another practitioner of these mudras will answer you.

I will be happy to study the mudras and their mantras, especially since there is also a book. Thank you for this opportunity. Om Shanti.

, decoding the mudras from this video for convenient use is a long, difficult intellectual task. 🙏 But it is definitely necessary:)))))

It occurred to me that the body is closely connected with the subconscious. The body is a very ancient organ, whose reactions are more truthful than behavioral patterns introduced from outside. Through its reactions, the body can warn us of the wrong path or danger, if we know how to listen to it. A mudra, on the other hand, works in the opposite way: a signal to the subconscious through the body, bypassing the conscious mind. I don’t know how accurate this idea is.

Additions.
Mantra for Grathita Mudra (14):

(In this part of the seminar on "Agama Shastra Mudras," GurujI first demonstrated the "Linga" and "Nirvana" Mudras, followed by "Shankha" and "Pankaja".
However, after singing the shloka, he clarified that the order is as follows:

5. Shankha
6. Pankaja
7. Linga
8. Nirvana (the final Mudra)
I kept the sequence of the mudras according to the video.
These last four mantras turned out to be more difficult, I did not fully work them out)

29. Linga Mudra (Linga Mudra/लिङ्ग मुद्रा, literally translated as the male phallus)
From the Agama Shastra class of
Mudras.
In the video—from 1:50:02.
Mantra to Shiva:
Shivasya Mahadeva Lingasya idayakam(?) Tripuram Trinetram Jagatpurum Namostute
Asmi bhuta Nagendrayā Maheshvaraya Jagatpurum Namastubhyam
Sadashiva Mahadeva namo namaha OM
Lingeshvaraya Mahadevaya namo namaha
With an addition (below):
Shivasya Mahadeva Lingasya Siddhidayakam
Tripundram Trinetram Jagadgurum Namostute
Asmi bhuta
Nagendrayā Maheshvaraya Jagadgurum Namastubhyam
Sadashivam Mahadevam namo namaha OM
Lingeshvaraya Mahadevaya namo namaha

As GurujI said, the mantra may be sung
OM Namah Shivaya
Addition.
(Shivasya Mahadeva Lingasya Siddhidayakam
Tripundram
(Trikundam?) Trinetram Jagadgurum Namostute
Ma (?) Asmi bhuta Nagendraya Maheshvaraya Jagadgurum
Namastubhyam Sadashivam Mahadevam Namo Namaha
OM)
30. Nirvana Mudra (Nirvana Mudra/निर्वाण मुद्रा, literally translated as the destruction of individual existence or of all desires and passions)
From the Agama Shastra class of
Mudras.
In the video—from 1:55:10.
Mantra:
Nirvanam Gopasya Nirvanam Tadayakam?? Nirvanam Mahadevam Nirvanam Dehime OM
Nirvanam Gopasya Nirvanam Tvayakam (?) Namastubhyam Mahadevam Nirvanam Si...?? OM
Namah Shivaya
With additions, possibly the correct version:
Nirvanam Rupasya Nirvanam Pradayakam
Nirvanam Mahadevam Nirvanam Dehime OM
Nirvanam Rupasya Nirvanam Nayakam Namastubhyam
Mahadevam Nirvanam Siddhidam OM Namah Shivaya

Additions.

Nirvanam Mahadevam Nirvanam Dehime
OM
Nirvanam Rupasya Nirvanam Nayakam
Namastubhyam Mahadevam Nirvanam Siddhidam
OM Namah Shivaya)
For the 14th Grathita Mudra, I also hear the mantra Jai Sita Ram Jai Jai Sita Ram.

And for the Nirvana Mudra, I hear:
Nirvanam Rupasya
Nirvanam Prod(h)ayakam
Nirvanam Mahadeva
Nirvanam Dehime
Nirvanam Rupasya
