Веретенников Сергей Веретенников Сергей ,
Om Shanti, may I ask you to recommend a good fitness tracker? 🙏
They’re all good these days.
It’s more important to pay attention to the APP that comes with the tracker.
That’s where all the charts are generated.
At the Ashram, I recommended several affordable and good trackers. Have a look.

I’m writing this here because I already talked about it in this course.
There are tests for recovery speed.

But this particular test is very simple.

You just need to sit down and stand up in a specific way.

Speaking for myself, I sit down in about 0.1 seconds and stand up in 0.2 seconds :)

Apparently, all those years of eating and sleeping on the floor have made themselves known... That’s the test.

The test is called: the sit-and-rise test.
It was invented abroad.

A huge number of tests have been conducted. It has been scientifically proven that this really reflects a person’s level of health.

Let’s continue.

Today we’ll talk about the capnograph.

You already know about the Buteyko Method (I’ve talked about it a lot), so you’ll easily understand what this is about.

If you visit any mirrors or similar devices in various cities—more often Novosibirsk or Saint Petersburg, and so on—then practically all such centers offer diagnostic testing. Usually both BEFORE and AFTER, to demonstrate clearly the benefit of a particular device or procedure...
And I can say for certain that, as a rule, it is precisely the device I was talking about in this thread on January 11, 2022.
The device is called Lotus.
And as I already said, you can have this device at home instead of paying a lot of money for diagnostics at various centers.
I devoted a great deal of attention to this device in this thread.
Some people have already been using it with their entire families for a long time.
And of course, when I talked about this device, it cost about half as much. Many people took advantage of it.

What has changed with smartwatches and fitness bands during this time?

Yes, there have been changes.

And they are the expected ones.

In this free course, I mainly talk to you about sleep-tracking functions.

And everything that happens during sleep.

And this is a very valuable device.

So what has changed, and which NEW watches and fitness bands at reasonable prices have appeared?

Huawei Band 9

Sleep monitoring:
TruSleep™ 4.0 technology provides excellent detail on sleep stages and in-depth analysis, includes breathing during sleep, and even tracks short naps.

Huawei WATCH FIT 3

Sleep monitoring: TruSleep™ 4.0 technology provides excellent detail on sleep stages and in-depth analysis, includes breathing during sleep, and even tracks short naps.

As you can see, they are identical when it comes to sleep tracking.

Key differences in the table

Regarding sleep (TruSleep™ 4.0):

  • Sleep and sleep-stage analysis, breathing, daytime sleep, and recommendations are absolutely identical (the algorithm and sensors are identical).
  • The Fit 3 wins only in terms of presentation: graphs, advice, and statistics on the large screen right on your wrist — easier to see, more attractive, and more convenient for browsing reports.

The real difference in everyday life:

Huawei Band 9:
  • Extremely lightweight, barely noticeable on your wrist at night — ideal for sleep and doesn’t bother even sensitive users.
  • Simple: set a goal, and it tracks and sends notifications; charge it once every one or two weeks.
  • Budget-friendly: cheaper than the Fit 3.
  • No GPS or calls from the band (but this is not critical for sleep and health tracking).

Huawei Watch Fit 3:
  • A very large, bright screen makes it convenient to read reports and graphs directly on the watch (especially if your eyesight isn’t “hawk-like”).
  • Built-in GPS — convenient for outdoor sports without your phone.
  • You can answer calls directly from the watch, and it includes music controls.
  • Many stylish watch faces; looks more “fashionable” on the wrist.
  • Slightly heavier (but still comfortable for most people at night).

The final choice is simple:
  • If the priorities are light weight, sleeping comfort, minimalism, and priceBand 9 is the best choice. Excellent sleep tracking, you barely feel the band, and it’s not a big loss if it gets lost or scratched.
  • If you want a bright, modern “smart display,” more “smart” features, calls and GPS, and are willing to pay a little extraWatch Fit 3 will make using it more enjoyable.

Once again, about Huawei WATCH FIT 3

1. Lightweight and comfortable to wear at night

  • Thin and lightweight body (only ~26 g) — it doesn’t press, interfere, or chafe, even on a bony wrist, and it won’t bother you under the pillow.
  • Soft strap (available in different colors and types, including hypoallergenic fluoroelastomer) — does not cause irritation or chafing.
  • Resistant to water and sweat — you can keep it on at night even in hot weather or if you’ve been sweating.

In practice, most users note that after a couple of nights they stop noticing it altogether — it feels like you’re “not wearing an extra gadget on your wrist.”

2. TruSleep™ 4.0 technology: detailed, intelligent sleep analysis

  • Automatically detects when you fall asleep and wake up.
  • Tracks all sleep stages — deep, light, REM (rapid eye movement), and also records brief awakenings.
  • Breathing analysis during sleep: tracks breathing rate and stability, detects possible apnea (breathing interruptions), and provides a separate nighttime breathing assessment.
  • Daytime sleep and short naps: Fit 3 detects and analyzes even short daytime “blackouts” (even if you nap for 10–20 minutes).
  • Heart-rate and SpO₂ monitoring at night: shows whether your pulse was stable and whether your blood oxygen level was sufficient.
  • Sleep-quality assessment — scores, recommendations, and personalized advice based on accumulated statistics.

3. Convenient reports and visualization right on your wrist

  • Large, bright display (1.82" AMOLED): convenient to read even at night; sleep graphs, stages, and advice are visible immediately after waking — no need to look for your phone.
  • Beautiful, clear graphs and a “sleep diary” show when you fell asleep, how many stages and awakenings there were, your “night score,” and what can be improved.
  • In the Huawei Health app you can see your complete sleep history, weekly and monthly trends, and personalized recommendations (for example, advice to go to bed earlier or practice breathing exercises).
  • Everything is in Russian, and the reports are easy to read, even if you’re not “tech-savvy.”

4. Full automation

  • You don’t need to manually enable “sleep mode” — the Fit 3 automatically detects when you fall asleep and wake up.
  • If you want, you can enable “night mode” (the screens won’t glare into your eyes).

5. Special “sleep features”

  • Sleep sounds — you can play a relaxing melody or “white noise” directly from the watch.
  • Sleep reminders — you can set an ideal bedtime and an alarm with “smart” wake-up.
  • Vibration alarm — gently wakes you during the right sleep stage without disturbing those around you.

6. Battery

  • 6–10 days without recharging — you don’t need to worry about the watch dying in the middle of the night, as can happen with Samsung or Apple Watch.

7. What do you actually see every morning?

  • Scores and a night rating (“excellent/okay/needs improvement”).
  • How much deep, light, and REM sleep you got, and how many times you woke up.
  • Falling-asleep and wake-up times.
  • Statistics on nighttime breathing, SpO₂, and heart rate.
  • Advice on what to try to improve your sleep.
  • Sleep history — how your sleep changes over time.

User impressions (according to reviews):

  • “I started sleeping better once I began tracking the statistics.”
  • “I realized that I actually sleep worse on weekends than on weekdays.”
  • “It’s very convenient to see reports directly on the watch — you don’t have to reach for your phone immediately.”

Compared with other devices:

  • Combining nighttime comfort, detailed sleep tracking, and an attractive screen, the Watch Fit 3 is a leader among affordable smartwatches in 2024–2025.
  • If it matters to you not only to “know how long you slept” but also to actually improve your sleep using recommendations, this is one of the best choices.

I bought the Fit 3 and haven’t regretted it for a moment. Mainly, of course, for sleep tracking, but the watch also helps with workouts. It can give you a magical kick with a signal that it’s time to move)) and awards stars for meeting certain targets. Lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t interfere with sleep. Thanks to its advice, I extended my deep-sleep phase. Today, it lasted 1 hour 48 minutes, and according to the app, that’s longer than 82% of users.

And I really regret not buying the Lotus back then. Now it costs twice as much. A miser pays twice.
