In my childhood, I still got to know my grandmother on my mother’s side when she spun with a spindle from fiber. I loved sitting “beside” her and watching.
It was a mesmerizing process. Truly magical—I wanted to “see” and understand everything: how she drew such a thin, continuous thread from that voluminous mass of fiber, forming a complete spindle! And then she would knit something from it. I really wanted to learn to do the same—it seemed that if I could do it too, I would become a sorceress! I remember very well my “unusually reverent” state when I first saw my grandmother’s spindle, and even just from hearing the word itself. Perhaps this was my first experience of Kudesa… I had a very tender feeling toward the spindle. (Now I see it as a sign.) And my grandmother really did not let us “play” with the spindle; she only let me try a couple of times—I was still “too little.” But she taught me to knit.
It is interesting that memories of the spindle and the spinning wheel often came to me later in difficult moments, like a “recollection,” like subtle support.
My grandmother was the “World Mother” to us—to everyone. It was as if she truly knew our destinies.
The song is astounding.

Hooray!! I finally managed to listen to this magical song!!

Well, what can I say? My expectations were completely fulfilled—it really is a masterpiece!!!
The song’s vibration and the rhythm itself awaken something ancient and forgotten within. Apparently, I wanted to hear it so much for a reason: both the melody and every word resonated so strongly that tears began to stream from my eyes (which is really not typical of me). They flowed on their own, and there was nothing I could do about it. Perhaps they were tears of delight (thankfully, no one was home, otherwise I would have had to explain to my family “what upset me so much,” and how to explain that it wasn’t distress?)

The song carries such a powerful message that it seems like a spell: it is both a call-prayer to Makosh and, at the same time, a plea—an incredibly powerful impulse!
You immediately want to sing along and dance during the choruses, and then during the verses too. But I could only sing along after listening to the song about ten times—before that, my tears kept me from singing. Breathtakingly beautiful!!
The visuals are, of course, wonderful too But as an aural person, sound has always mattered more to me

Every time I’m amazed that it isn’t real people singing, but AI—it is done so skillfully that if I didn’t know exactly where the voices and the song came from, I don’t think I could distinguish it from live singing
