Good day.
The program does not start for me. There is absolutely no response, and no warning windows appear. OS: Windows 10. Antivirus: Norton. I tried temporarily disabling the antivirus while loading—the result was the same; it does not start and does not even respond when launched as administrator.
I duplicated the message in the thread “About the School Store’s computer programs.” I simply don't know where it would be more appropriate to post.

Following this article, I could not find the specified folder in the registry—or rather, mine is named differently. I tried making the change there, and the computer started freezing. I restored everything.
I tried launching other *.exe programs, including yours—the “Arcturian Codes” program. Everything launches. But the Test and this program do nothing.

There is only one way to find out for sure: uninstall Norton Antivirus completely and launch it without Norton.

That method did not work either.
I cannot uninstall Norton; I would have to buy another license number. It does not respond to this file at all. Usually, if it “complains” and moves a file to quarantine, the file can easily be restored and excluded from Norton’s “protection.”

Usually, everything works for people who do not have Norton installed.

There are only two possible problems here: either Norton or Windows.
Both have support services.

There’s no need to change the OS. But it may have its own quirks, caused, for example, by a virus, and so on. And with antivirus software, it’s not as simple as turning it off and on.

I transferred the program to my laptop. It also has Windows 10 and Norton. The program worked without any problems there as well. Strange—the versions on both devices are identical.

Antivirus software has very extensive permissions, including the ability to modify the registry. That’s why it is always the first thing people look at.
