Namaste, is it possible to participate in the Puja without a photo? I registered at the academy and paid, but I can’t submit the form because I don’t have a photo. I previously participated in other Pujas, and a photo wasn’t required. I haven’t received an answer to this question at the academy; perhaps I’ll get an answer from the school?

But flowers are still easier to buy than on March 8.

Does anyone remember how I conducted the Puja for Maha Shivaratri many years ago? I had to buy flowers on March 8...

That was when Shiva put me through a full test...

Physically, it looked like this: getting to some flower shop in the city of Oryol where THERE WERE STILL FLOWERS. It’s funny already....

The search for such a shop took place in some kind of snow-rain...

Making my way through incredible queues in the shop...

Ultimately astonishing the saleswoman with such a huge number of flowers... And answering the question, "Do you know how much all this will cost!!!???"

Catching a taxi.... Fitting in with all the flowers....

Answering the taxi driver’s question, "If it’s not a secret, why do you need SO MANY flowers...."

Unloading....

Arranging everything in jars of water....

Some civilization has now appeared in Oryol, and it’s possible to order online (but another problem has appeared—the internet is periodically blocked). We’re still dealing with difficulties as best we can...

In the end, there will be 108 roses. This is the largest number ever. Moreover, they are divided into two bouquets: 99 roses and 9 roses.

The final number is 999. An odd number.

Answers to frequently asked questions about the Puja at the Academy:

1. Can deceased relatives be added to the list? It is better to add only living relatives.

2. Until what date can relatives be added and photos uploaded? Until February 14, inclusive.

3. Is the relatives’ consent required to add them to the list? No, it is not. We appeal to the Higher Powers for help; we can always pray in temples and perform services for others without even notifying them.

4. The red thread—do relatives need to tie it, and when and how should I tie it for myself? Carefully follow the instructions given in this lesson. The red thread is not mandatory; it is optional. If relatives do not want it, of course you should not tie it on them

5. Do I need to prepare anything special for the puja besides entering the list of relatives and my own photo?
Nothing additional needs to be prepared. The most important thing is to enter information about yourself and your relatives here in the GetCourse form.*

6. Where will the video be available after the Puja for participants who registered through the Academy? The video will appear at the very beginning of the lesson in the Academy within 1–3 days after the Puja ends.

7. What if I do not have some of the photos, do not want to send photos, etc.?
The option of enhancing the effect of participation through photos is provided for you and your benefit. If you do not need or want to increase the effect, it is entirely up to you. You can add whatever photos you and your relatives are able to find. If you cannot find some of the photos at all, insert any pictures from the internet instead so that the form is completed.

The pigeon that arrived is a regular visitor of mine. Today it arrived right after the Puja.
So, it reacted to me in an unusual way.
It seemed to be wary of something), and with uncharacteristic shyness, it nevertheless approached me, but was hesitant to peck from my hand, although that is usually quite normal for it.
It was already pecking at the food scattered on the windowsill with some visiting pigeons
