Guys and girls, I’m with you. I do 30–40 squats in the morning, and added some during the day; yesterday I managed 4×10. I’ve been doing them in the morning for a little over a month, and added the daytime sessions a week ago. At first, I did just 1–2 sets. I noticed that muscles have started appearing on my legs. Now I need to think of something for my arms.
Today is day 13 of squats. Yesterday, 8 sets of 12. Today I tried adding more. Instead of twelve, I did 15 reps, also raising my arms. It’s very noticeable that the load has increased. I’ve already done 7 sets. And it seems the intervals have become shorter, although they’re actually the same. We’ll see; maybe I’ll ease off a little tomorrow.
Namaste to all participants—good health, greetings, and gratitude for taking part and sharing your reports!
Today, 5 sets of 15 reps. It’s wonderful when you see other people’s results—it motivates you so much to continue working in the same direction! We’re all motivating one another!
It’s a very pleasant feeling that my legs have grown stronger—not only the muscles, but also my knees. And even if my knees sometimes click, that aching feeling of overstrain from the first days is gone. In addition, the process itself has become easier: I try to squat slowly rather than for speed. Before, I could feel overstrain in my muscles, and my legs would get tired, even though the muscles had become firmer. Now there’s no feeling of fatigue in my muscles, just a sensation that my legs are warming up and that the flow of blood (and energy) in my legs and throughout my body is speeding up. And since squats take very little time, the feeling of increased flow and warmth passes just as quickly.
However, I carefully observe how I feel internally, and now I understand on a bodily level (not merely intellectually) why the practice should be done every two hours. The body has grown accustomed to the regularity of this load on the legs and seems to use it to restart/activate the whole organism, including the immune system. This is especially noticeable when there has been little physical activity during the day and no sports training—then the body “clings” to these squats as a reason to switch on something important within itself, something that cannot be switched on while it (the body) remains motionless. I never imagined that everything worked this way! As children, we were told that morning exercises and a walk before bed should be enough to maintain general health, but no—my body is signaling through experience that, in that case, this mechanism does not start… It’s amazing how everything in us is arranged after all!
I’m continuing our health marathon. Have a wonderful day, and success to everyone!
I did 70 squats during the day, sets of 10 and 15, using different techniques—deeper movements, with emphasis on different parts of the legs. The workout feels good. I’m strengthening my arms and legs with a resistance band and elastic exercise band.
40 this morning + 4 sets of 10 throughout the day. I didn’t have time during the day; I went for a walk today, there’s a blizzard here, and my legs are holding up well under the strain, while I unfortunately forgot to set an alarm.
