I’m continuing too. It turns out differently every time, but I’m happy that I’ve started practicing every day. Sometimes I manage only a couple of times a day, and sometimes throughout the day at set intervals. I do as many squats as I feel like, but always more than 20. In the morning, I tried squatting while washing my face—but it didn’t work. I really like this practice because I work remotely as an accountant and sit at the computer almost all day. As always, the ideas from OM Shanti are timely, very convenient, and useful for us.
Continuing the practice, day 27. I’ve come to understand that a squat means lowering yourself until your butt almost touches the floor....
At the beginning of the intensive, I squatted so that my knees were at a 90-degree angle... Then I remembered that Google could help and learned that
in the East, elderly people can sit in a full squat for hours—but honestly, I won’t be able to do that!
So far, my record today is 9 sets of 13 full squats!
There’s room to improve!
Good luck and success to everyone!
Namaste! I didn’t have time to write yesterday. I wasn’t doing it regularly. But whenever I have time, I do it. For example, if I miss 2 times, I do 30 squats at once. Altogether, I did 60 squats.
Good day to everyone! I’m continuing the intensive. Squatting a certain number of times has become a habit—at least 70 a day. I try to work different parts of the body. I don’t write every day, but I’m with you all in spirit, dear participants! Success and good health to everyone!
Namaste! So, today I did everything as required: 7 sets of 10 squats. My knees feel better when going down, but I still feel the right one a little. A year ago, I fell and hit my knee hard. It didn’t hurt particularly, but it really hurts when going down.
Writing for two days. It consistently works out to 3 times × 15 in the morning (I do a mini workout anyway, plus 1 exercise), during my lunch break at work, and in the evening at home. Sometimes I manage one more time at work when I arrive and once midway through the day. Five in total. I’m trying to add more. The main thing for me is not to give up, since I start many things but don’t always finish them and establish the habit. Thanks to everyone who writes and motivates us to do more!
Day 38 of the intensive. I haven’t missed a single day, although there were days when I did fewer sets and made up for it by doing more repetitions at once.
Today I’ve already done 86 repetitions in 4 sets. Usually it’s around 20. These aren’t quite classic squats; I do the “Skier,” raising my arms as well. It’s going well.
I’ve noticed that the shape of my thighs has changed significantly—they’ve become firmer and stronger. I often feel a pleasant, moderate muscle soreness.
I’m very happy to be taking part in the intensive! Good luck to all the participants, and stay persistent and keep going!
