Namaste to all the intensive participants!
I haven't written in a long time, but I haven't missed a session. Sometimes I don't manage the full number of sets. But overall, I do about 80+ squats.
Six weeks of the marathon are behind me. I haven't had legs this toned since my school days, when I attended a sports club.
At the same time, I noticed that only certain leg muscles have been worked—the front and side muscles, while the inner ones haven't yet. For three days I've also been doing an exercise with a backward leg swing, supporting myself with my hands on a table.
And I decisively turned off half of the “squat” alarms; the goal is to switch to a self-reminder routine without them.
Good luck and persistence to everyone as you continue!
@3301, thank you for the tip about leg swings; I added them too and really liked it. I've already written about this—I do everything when I feel like it or when I have time, as it works out. I like it better this way. I tried using an alarm, but for me it felt like an “obligation,” and it didn't work. Apparently, everyone is different. This way, my brain seems to accept it as its “personal choice.”
Thank you all for your support and motivation.
Yesterday, only three sets of 10, as I was on the road all day.
Today I returned to my usual schedule—7 sets of 10.
I've noticed that squats have become such a pleasant part of life, especially when you see your body transforming and your strength increasing.
Now in the morning I always rub my knees and legs, do Chinese exercises to get the lymph moving, and then do squats.
I also noticed that I wasn't keeping my back straight, which led to an incorrect load on my knees, and they were protesting. Before bed, I now make sure to massage my legs and arms well with oil.
Wishing everyone strong health!
+ Namaste! Continuing to participate in the intensive at the same pace: 7 sets of 12 squats. Success in your practice to all participants! Your comments are very motivating!
Greetings, dear participants! I don't write every day, but I continue with our intensive. I almost always do the required amount—70–80 repetitions. It has already become a habit. I add walking in a squat, walking on my knees, rotational exercises for all the joints, and rubbing the lymph nodes. Success and good health to everyone!
Namaste! I’m doing them with varying degrees of success! Yesterday, for example, I did 40 squats in the morning. Then the Real World swept me away. I came home late and went straight to bed. I haven’t been walking for almost two weeks now. First a storm, then a tempest, then strong winds. One more week and I’ll return to my previous routine. A lot has piled up, so I’m sorting through it)))
