3 cycles of 28, 30, and 33 breaths. Pause 1 min 57 sec.
Unfortunately, starting tomorrow I won’t be able to post here—I’m leaving for several weeks for a remote area with no internet at all. But I’ll continue practicing.
I also noticed that when physical activity decreases, the pause decreases too, even if you breathe every day. My fitness center membership ended three weeks ago. Naturally, my activity level decreased. I didn’t notice it during the first week or two, but now I can feel that my body isn’t getting its usual activity. And the past few days, my pause has reflected this as well. But it’s okay—I’ll make up for it in the remote areas
Wishing everyone a wonderful practice!
Namaste! Yes… it’s the same for me: a lack of strenuous activity reduces the duration of the pause. It also happens when I’m very tired. The pause decreases then, too.
Three cycles of 30 breaths. Pause 1 min 3 sec.
Namaste!
Today I did the breaths, intending to do 3 cycles of 30 breaths. The first two pauses were 1 min and 1 min 16 sec. During the third cycle, my state somehow changed; I even lost count of exactly how many breaths I had taken and almost fell asleep. This had never happened before. I rested in this sleep-like state for several minutes, after which I felt more energetic and in a brighter mood.
