Today I again did everything when the alarm went off, and whenever I remembered, I did some more between alarms.
I’m trying to do the squats correctly—not too quickly and with proper breathing.
ОМ Шанти posted a video on how to squat correctly; I don’t remember where, possibly in the Ashram, and I remembered how to do it correctly. I always keep it in mind when I squat, both before and now.
9 sets of 12 reps. 108 in total. Thank you,
2298298, I liked your idea of bringing the total to the cherished 108!
My legs are starting to get toned. My back is getting involved a little too. There’s more to come! )
Overall, the sensations are pleasant.
The joy of participating together!
The joy of being engaged in the process!
The joy of feeling my body is beginning to return.
The Intensive inspires me more and more.
And thanks again to the alarm clock. Gratitude to Ом Шанти for the idea of the Intensive!
And once again I’m thinking: is it really so hard to remember without an alarm clock?..

8 sets of 10–15 squats and 10 push-ups.
Over the course of the day, that comes to more than a hundred squats and eighty push-ups. Simply the BEST way to make physical activity an actual part of your daily life!
And how wonderful it is to do this “as a group” of like-minded people! Every time the alarm rings, I think that someone close to me has started squatting together with me right now. Just that thought already makes me feel warm and inspired.
ОМ Шанти, heartfelt thanks for the wonderful Intensive!
A month ago, I started doing 30 squats every morning. Someone I know sent me a video saying they’re very beneficial, especially as you get older. And then there was the Intensive! I joined
On the third day, in addition to my usual 30 in the morning, I did 4 sets of 10. I can feel my energy increasing. Thank you, ОМ Шанти
Yesterday I only managed to do the bare minimum: 10 squats and 15 push-ups in the morning, and 10 squats before bed.
Today I’m getting back on schedule
I never cease to be amazed at how perfectly timed everything is happening here! I had been wanting to sign up for a gym for a long time, but somehow never got around to it
In the end, as often happens with me, my daughter gave me the final push. At her suggestion, we finally found a suitable sports complex and went to sign up.
Our wonderful squat intensive started right in the interval between making the decision and completing all the paperwork/memberships. And today I had my first group workout. To be honest, I was seriously worried that, being unaccustomed to it, I would quickly "die" and crawl home "dead on my feet"... But no! It turned out that in these 4 days my legs had already strengthened enough. The workout was enjoyable, I didn't feel any excessive strain, and afterward I even had time to try out the treadmills, ellipticals, and exercise bikes in the cardio room
Then I cheerfully skipped home through Moscow's rainy snow to share my good mood with my family
By the way, Mom is squatting with me now too! And although it looks funny to the rest of the family when we suddenly drop everything and start squatting, we don't care—the main thing is that it's beneficial
Namaste, fellow practitioners!
I’m continuing the intensive. 5 sets of 15 repetitions, plus walking in a squat—it’s not easy, but it’s beneficial. My legs are getting stronger and more toned, and I’m flying up to the 7th floor without the elevator. Life-giving power lies in action!
Good luck and keep going, everyone!
I love squats. 10 repetitions per set is far too few for me; 30 feels comfortable, but unfortunately I can't manage to do them every 2 hours because of the time. I’ll keep working toward it, though—I really like it.
+ I’m participating! Today is day 5. I really like it—it’s fun, interesting, easy, and exciting! And yes, it works!
I set 8 alarms. It all depends on circumstances. I missed 1–2 sets when I was caught out on the street. I don’t overthink it. I hear the alarm—I squat and do push-ups against any surface (a doorframe, a table). And it seems like such a small thing, easy—it’s a game. Yet my mood improves, because at the most "inconvenient" moment, when I’m obviously very busy and have more important things to do, I put everything aside and take a minute for myself because it’s easy and quick.
So far, I’m noticing 2 effects:
1. Improved mood.
2. I can feel my muscles working.
OM Shanti, thank you for this practice and idea. This intensive is incredibly useful!! (Like all the others.) It’s not about useful exercise machines and excellent workout routines—they’re needed too. This is something different: the psychology, the magic of movement and attention.
I wish myself and all the participants the ability to stay in the intensive as long as possible and gain lots of positive emotions from the results of our efforts.
